Customer typically receive their stereos anywhere from one to two weeks, depending on the system. The products we sell are shipped directly from the manufacture, who may not have a large amount of stock on hand, which may extend delivery times. We will get in touch with you if we are notified of any delays.
In large part, the answer to that question depends on your room layout and audio sources. Here are a few basic tips we recommend:
Create a dedicated listening space and minimize external noises; We suggest following Focal's guide for the best results.
Double check that all your connections are solidly in place; the may require a little more force to seat correctly than you think.
Listen to the best quality recordings possible such as vinyl, Tidal, or Qobuz. When using Spotify, make sure that you're audio quality is set to "Very High"
Short answer is: the speakers are wired incorrectly.
The paper cone of a speaker moves in and out to provide the sound waves in the air. This movement is called excursion. The speakers should extend and retract in unison. Otherwise they tend to cancel each other out. This can also be a problem for microphones.
The cure is to reverse the polarity of the hookup wire to make them all match. A simple way is to use a 9 volt battery. Un wire the speaker, touch the battery to the terminals, notice if it extends retracts. Also note the orientation of the battery, do them all the same. The wire pairs should have an identifying feature such as color or a stripe. Make sure they are all wired the same. If there are separate connections at the amplifier, check to be sure they also match there.
